Followed by the 1st season of the TV series "Rishi hen: Unwavering Resolve Arc" broadcasted in Apr-Sep/2019 (26 episodes in total), "Mugen Ressha hen: The Movie - Infinity Train" released in Oct/2020 as a theatrical version (due to its popularity, a TV re-edited version was released from Oct/2021) and the TV series "Yukaku hen: Entertainment District Arc" broadcasted in Dec/2021-Feb/2022 (11 episodes in total).
It is a sequel to the well-known popular work and depicts the fierce battle between humans and demons in Taisho era Japan.
The original manga has already been completed (23 volumes in total), with "Risshi hen" corresponding to volumes 1-7, "Mugen Ressha hen" to volumes 7-8, and this "Yukaku hen" to volumes 8-11.
The story is literally set in the village of sword making.
I have watched the 1st episode and visual and graphics was just surperb, and I am very curious to see how much of the "glamour" and "gore" will be depicted in the anime in further episodes.
The production by ufotable, the director Sotozaki Haruo, and the music by Kajiura Yuki and Shiina Go are unchanged from the previous season, and the splendid voice cast is also unchanged.
The theme song is also nice, with the collaboration of MAN WITH A MISSION x millet.
