An animated film to be released in May 2022.
It is an anime adaptation of the original manga and follows the 1st (Jan-Mar 2019, 12 episodes) and 2nd (Jan-Mar 2021, 12 episodes) seasons of the TV series, covering the completion of the original manga.
The production company Bibury Animation Studios G.K., the composition by Ochi Keiichiro remains unchanged from the 2nd anime season, and the director has been changed from Kaori to Jimbo Masato.
The main character is played by Matsuoka Yoshitsugu("Sword Art Online":Kirito), and the five heroines are played by Hanazawa Kana("Bakemonogatari":Sengoku Nadeko), Taketatsu Ayana("K-On!":Nakano Azusa), Ito Miku("Princess Connect Re:Dive":Kokkoro), Sakura Ayane("Non Non Biyori ":Koshigaya Natsumi), and Minase Inori("Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-" : Rem), who play the five children, are of course unchanged.
The 136-minute film, which is quite long for an anime film, is well worth watching.
While carefully depicting the main character's final choice among the five girls, there is also a development in the final part of the movie where everyone is saved, and I was able to finish the movie with a very refreshed feeling.
