New anime starting in January 2024.
Based on a Korean novel (2016-2018), this series was later adapted into a webcomic (vertical-scrolling manga) in South Korea. The Japanese version gained popularity, leading to its recognition in Japan and subsequent anime adaptation.
Original manga illustrator passed away in July 2022, however, webcomic resumed serialization with a reorganized team.
The story revolves around a male protagonist who, in modern world, takes on the new profession of a Hunter to combat the proliferation of monsters following the sudden appearance of gates connecting to ISEKAI (another world). A unique aspect is the protagonist's exclusive ability to level up in stats that don't normally increase. At the beginning of the story, the protagonist is weak, but through intense battles, he gradually becomes stronger—an unconventional plot point.
Having watched episodes 1 to 4, the anime features powerful scenes, including intense combat descriptions and the palpable reality of the fear faced by the Hunters.
