The black and white in the title is not a reference to their personalities but to the color of the cloak they wear.
It is a romantic comedy in a daily life that borrows from a fantasy sekaikan(worldview), and can be watched in a relaxed manner.
The production team/staff of production Doga Kobo("YuruYuri"), director Noro Sumie("Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle": Deputy Director) and Yamada Yuka("Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid":Composition) are enough to understand that this anime will be good at describing mellow atmosphere.
