Animated from a manga, this is the second season following Season 1 (Oct-Dec/2024, 12 episodes).
It’s a blend of occult-themed action battles and romantic comedy.
The story began (in Season 1) with a bizarre incident: The story unfolds with an intriguing incident where a boy, who believes in extraterrestrial life but not in spiritual phenomena, is possessed by an earthbound spirit. At the same time, a granddaughter of a spiritual medium who believes in spiritual phenomena but not aliens is abducted by extraterrestrials and given superpowers.
The animation studio, Science SARU, delivers a visually psychedelic tone and high-tempo battle scenes, creating a distinctive and high-quality work that gained popularity from the beginning of Season 1.
In this second season, there’s no recap—story picks up directly from the climax of the first season, throwing viewers straight into an intense and dynamic battle scene.
Once again, it looks to be an undeniably enjoyable anime series.
