Animated from a manga series, which concluded with 34 volumes in February 2022.
The anime adaptation previously covered manga vol.1–20 across its first two seasons — Season 1 (July–December 2019, 24 episodes) and Season 2 (July–December 2020, 24 episodes).
This third season continues the story from there.
An intense sci-fi action story, it follows the exploits of a Special Fire Force unit that battles spontaneous human combustion (The Infernals).
Season 2 ended at a turning point where the conflict with the The Evangelist— who seek the pure flame known as the Adolla Burst — was intensifying.
Now, nearly five years later, Season 3 begins quietly, as the confrontation between both sides reignites.
The highlight will be the clash between the protagonist — a firefighter who possesses the Adolla Burst — and The Evangelist trying to take it from him.
