New anime started from Apr/2022.
This is the 3rd installment of the school idol "LoveLive!" series, and the 2nd season depicts the activities of the school idols of Nijigasaki Gakuen.
There have been 4 titles in this "LoveLive!" series so far. "LoveLive!" depicts idol group "μ's(Muse)" in Otonokizaka Gakuin, set in Tokyo(1st season Jan-Mar/2013: 13 episodes, 2nd season Apr-Jun/2014: 13 episodes). "Love Live! Sunshine!" depicts idol group "Aqours(Aqua)" in Uranohoshi Jogakuin, set in Numazu city of Shizuoka Pref(1st season Jul-Sep/2016: 13 episodes, 2nd season Oct-Dec/2017: 13 episodes). This "LoveLive! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club" started after these 2 titles, and then latest one is "LoveLive! Superstar!!" which depicts "Liella!" of Yuigaoka Girls' High School set in Tokyo again(1st season Jul-Oct/2021: 12 episodes). Among these 4 titles the story of "LoveLive! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club" is bit unique since this is the only one in which the characters do not form a single unit, and the daily activities of the characters are naturally depicted as the actions of individual characters.
The 2nd season of the series features new characters with even richer personalities, and from the beginning of the story, there are interesting scenes depicting the conflict between individual and group performance.
