New anime starting in Apr/2021.
This is the 3rd season of the anime adaptation of the popular manga.
The original manga has been published up to volume 61 and is still being serialized, but the anime will start from volume 25 of the manga, "Allliance".
The main character, Li Xin, faces the predicament of the Qin Dynasty being attacked by six countries simultaneously.
Incidentally, the staff of this work has changed quite a bit between the 1st season (June 2012 - February 2013, 38 episodes), the 2nd season (June 2013 - March 2014, 39 episodes), and the 3rd season (April 2021 -).
Production is unchanged at PIERROT CO., LTD.("NARUTO", "Osomatsu-san"), but the director was changed from Jun Kamiya in the 1st season to Akira Iwanaga in the 2nd season to Kenichi Imaizumi in the 3rd season. Script writer was changed from Naruhisa Arakawa in the 1st and 2nd seasons to Noboru Takagi in the 3rd season. And the character designers were changed from Atsuo Tobe, Noriko Otake, Masatoshi Hakanda in the 1st season to Itsuko Takeda, Kumiko Tokunaga, Makoto Shimojima in the 2nd season. Music team is been changed:1st/2nd term: Minako Seki to 3rd term: Hiroyuki Sawano. No change in voice actors.
Since the original manga is so solid, I don't feel any discomfort from one season to the next, but what I felt a big change this time was the music. The music was composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, who has a proven track record of composing music for epic stories such as "Attack on Titan", which added a lot of weight to the work from the beginning.
I'm looking forward to watching the fierce battle between Qin and the combined forces.
