This is the second season of the anime adaptation of the manga, following 24 episodes which were aired from July to December 2019.
It depicts the struggles and conflicts of the protagonist and the few remaining human beings who are resurrected thousands of years after a mysterious petrification ray suddenly petrified all of humanity.
From this season, the battle between the protagonist's camp, which makes full use of the power of science, and the camp that tries to rule the world with military might, begins in earnest.
