It is an anime based on a manga, and the original manga was written by Cool-kyo Shinja, who wrote "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" and "I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying”.
The story is based on the legend of Momotaro(Peach Boy), and tells the story of a human society that abhors different races, but if there were multiple people with the blood of Momotaro who kill demons.
The drawings are dark, and the battle scenes are quite grotesque.
