An anime adaptation of a manga.
The original manga is written by Boichi who is from Korea and this manga is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump.
It depicts a boy who struggles to revive a world where living things have become petrified with the power of science. The scientific know-how that the protagonist demonstrates in a world that has returned to a primitive age is fully convincing because of the scientific supervision that went into the original manga. This is similar to the way that "Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma" has a culinary supervisor, and it is very interesting like watching the PC game "Civilization" as an anime.
The two main characters are well played by Kobayashi Yusuke ("Heroic Legend of Arslan", "Yona of the Dawn") and Furukawa Makoto ("Golden Time", " One Punch-Man").
