Animated from a manga, "Yuru Camp" meaning "Relaxed Camping," and while the similar "Yama no Susume" depicts mountain climbing and hiking, this one focuses mainly on camping.
Directed by Kyogoku Yoshiaki, storyboard artist for "Yama no Susume Season2 ," and composed by Tanaka Jin, who worked on the Pretty Cure series, the first 2 episodes are pleasantly drawn with a loose and fluffy touch. Voice casts are Hanamori Yumiri(Grimoire of Zero: Zero), Toyama Nao("My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU":Yuigahama Yui), Hara Sayuri("KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!":Luna), Toyosaki Aki("K-On!":Hirasawa Yui), Takahashi Rie("Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!":Megumin), Inoue Marina("Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann":Yoko Littner), Riyo TOtsuka Akio("GHOST IN THE SHELL":Batô) and others.
Although unrelated to the main story, is it just me or does the opening song sound exactly like Jackson 5's "I want you back"?
