Animated from a popular manga.
Production WIT STUDIO, composition/screenplay Seko Hiroshi, character design Kadowaki Satoshi, are all team "Attack on Titan", so the overall designs are almost like those of the "Attack on Titan".
However, of course, the story is not "Attack on Titan" but is based on the original manga, depicting a world where only children under the age of 13 can survive, and vampires who rule the earth.
Episode 12 ends with a foreshadowing of the 2nd season.
As mentioned above, the character settings have the touch of the "Attack on Titan" anime, but on the other hand, the background and landscapes have an oil painting-like touch, which gives a unique matching image.
The story depicts a confrontation between humans and vampires, a setting that is more common in the West than that of Japan, but I was able to watch the film without much discomfort.
The action scenes with swords were excellent.
I am sure that this film will be popular not only in Japan but also abroad.
