The story revolves around a high school boy named Murai, who falls in love with his teacher, Tanaka. However, while Murai passionately pursues her, Tanaka is only interested in anime male characters. The twist is that her favorite character looks exactly like Murai, which makes for a fun and unique premise.
The animation style resembles hand-drawn manga, and the dialogue has a comedic, sketch-like feel, making it enjoyable to watch.
The anime is produced by J.C.STAFF (A Certain Magical Index), directed by Yamakawa Yoshinobu ("HI SCORE GIRL": Director), composition/screenplay by Yamakawa Susumu(The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House : composition/screenplay).
