A new anime starting in April 2024.
Adapted from a light novel, it's commonly known as "Konosuba." The anime has already seen its first season (January to March 2016, 10 episodes), second season (January to March 2017, 10 episodes), the movie "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson" (2019), and the spin-off "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Explosion on This Wonderful World!" (April to June 2023, 12 episodes), and this is the third season of the TV series.
The story follows a jobless protagonist who reincarnates into a fantasy world filled with comedic mishaps.
The production and staff remain unchanged from the recent work "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Explosion on This Wonderful World!" with Drive Inc.("To Your Eternity 2nd season") handling production, directed by Abe Yujiro("BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS": Director), and Uezu Makoto("God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!" : Screenplay & Composition) as composition/screenplay. Voice actors include Fukushima Jun ("Yowamushi Pedal": Naruko Shokichi), Amamiya Sora("Rent-A-Girlfriend": Mizuhara Chizuru), Takahashi Rie("Teasing Master Takagi-san": Takagi-san), Kayano Ai("Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day": Honma Meiko), Hara Sayuri("THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls": Honda Mio), Inada Tetsu("Legend Of The Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These":Fritz Joseph Bittenfeld), Suwa Ayaka("Yowamushi Pedal":Kanzaki Miki), Horie Yui("Bakemonogatari":Hanekawa Tsubasa), Nishida Masakazu("My Hero Academia": Shoji Mezo), Toyosaki Aki("K-On!": Hirasawa Yui), Eguchi Takuya("My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU":Hikigaya Hachiman), Takao Kanon("Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater ":Tsurugi Hina) and others.
I've watched the first episode, and it skillfully maintains the intentionally "crude but charming" visual touch that Studio DEEN deliberately adopted for the first two seasons of the TV series. Additionally, it unfolds with a high-tempo comedy style, leaving us to enjoy from the start.
