An anime adaptation based on a light novel, published by KADOKAWA as a novel, and also serialized as a manga under the Monthly Shonen Magazine label.
Set in a world after the defeat of the Demon Lord, the story revolves around powerful individuals known as "Shura" who vie for supremacy in a fantasy setting. The characters possess different occupations (classes) and races, being referred to by nicknames. The anime primarily focuses on introducing the numerous Shura characters in the early episodes. As the story progresses towards the end, the anticipation builds for how the characters will intersect.
