Animated from a manga, and it is the second season following the first (April to June 2023, 12 episodes).
The story revolves around a romantic comedy involving boys and girls entering adolescence, with a focus on a second-year middle school boy who is a chuunibyou (adolescent delusion) enthusiast and loves suspense novels. The narrative centers around this boy and a female classmate of the same grade, who effortlessly manages various roles, including modeling, while remaining true to herself without overly embellishing her actions.
While the character settings are unique, the storyline is grounded in everyday life, depicting the ambiguous feelings of adolescence that everyone has experienced. The series gained popularity in the previous season, portraying the distance between the protagonist and the heroine got a bit closer in the latter half of the first season.
However, watching the first episode of the second season, their frustrating interactions seem to continue, promising another season of enjoyable moments.
