Animated from a novel, and the novelist is Uno Bokuto who is the author of "Alderamin on the Sky".
The story centers on the protagonist and his friends, who improve each others' magic skill and swordsmanship at a magic school, and depicts how they confront their problems and help each other.
At first glance, thought the SEKAIKAN(worldview) is similar to that of Harry Potter, but the main focus is on swordfighting rather than magic, and the hierarchical structure is characterized by the dominance of humans over other creatures.
Watched first few episodes. The psychological portrayal of the characters and the storyline were nice, and more than that battle scenes involving swords and magic are very powerful.
Looking forward to the future development of the series.
