The anime is based on a manga, and as it is an anime adaptation solely by the anime production company MAPPA, there was a lot of talk about it even before it aired.
MAPPA, which produced "Attack on Titan(2nd season onward)," "Dorohedoro," and "Jutsu Kaisen," depicts powerful battles, violence, and sometimes a certain eroticism.
The story itself is a drama in which the main character, who has made a contract with a demon(of chainsaw) and can now turn into a demon, and his coleagues exterminate the demons that lurk in the world.
The opening song is "kick back" by Yonetsu Kenshi, and both the song itself and the opening video are excellent, but what is surprising is that the ending songs are provided by different artists for each episode, and the videos are all linked to the main story and music.
