Anime movie released from May/2022.
Director Yuasa Masaaki's unique interpretation of the activities of INU-OH, a Noh(Japanese traditional dance and music) performer who actually existed during the reign of Ashikaga Yoshimitsu in the Muromachi period (1336-1573), has been adapted to animation.
INU-OH's dance and his buddy TOMONA's biwa, which started a movement involving the public in contrast to KAN-AMI, who took the high road at that time, are projected onto British music band Queen who brought a new style to the rock world, and Michael Jackson who brought a new style to the dance world, in the production of this work.
It is as if you are watching a music video.
The combination of the two is bizarre, but it is easy to understand that the people of the time would have been shocked by such an unusual combination, and you can enjoy the mixture of sound and dance in the video.
INU-OH is played by artist Avu-chan (vocalist of Queen Bee), and Moriyama Mirai(Japanese famous actor and dancer) gives a monstrous performance as TOMONA.
