A new anime television series premiered in Apr/2021.
The ensemble cast of teenage high-school girls dedicated to pottery, set in Tajimi City in Gifu Prefecture. The unique anime originated from the project of a regional promotion and revitalization.
Planet, a medical equipment manufacturer based in Tajimi, plays a central role in the anime adaptation. The president apparently had been mentored by Teiichiro Hori, the founder of Tokyo Disneyland.
In addition to 15 minutes of an animated episode in the first half of its 30 minutes program, it also contains a live action section of touring Tajimi City in the second half.
Created by Nippon Animation (“Chibi Maruko chan”, ”World Masterpiece Theater”). Directed by Jun Kamiya (“Hikaru no Go”, “Kingdom”). Scripted by Naruhisa Arakawa (“Kingdom”, “ISLAND”). Voiced by Minami Tanaka (“Wake Up, Girls!”, “Kakegurui”), Yu Serizawa (“Kakegurui”, “TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You”), by Yuki Wakai (“PriPara (Prism Paradise)”, ”Kakegurui”), by Rina Honnizumi (“Wise Man's Grandchild”, ”The Gymnastics Samurai”). Both the staff and voice actors/actresses are magnificent.
Hopefully, we can meet more anime titles with this type of context and composition.
