A new TV anime lineup starting in Apr/2021, adapted from a light novel.
As the title suggests, this anime unobtrusively depicts the motorcycle life of a high school girl who acquires Honda's immortal Super Cub motorcycle.
Story is set in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and depicts a high school girl who lives alone and has no friends, who suddenly stops by a motorcycle shop and buys a Cub, and how her world expands. I wondered what kind of colorless film this is at first, but the moment the girl got on the bike, the background suddenly changed into color, which was an exquisite direction.
As a matter of course, the bikes are very carefully drawn as Honda supervises the series.
Created by Studio KAI inc. of "Uma Musume Pretty Derby". Directed by Toshiro Fujii ("Boruto: Naruto Next Generations", "18if"). Scripted by Toshizo Nemoto ("Bakuten!"). The background of the drastic color change is a work by Kusanagi, an art setting company. The main character is voiced by Yuki Yomichi starring his first leading part, who is a motorcycle enthusiast owning several bikes including Super Cub. Other characters are voiced by Ayaka Nanase ("Erased", "SAKURA QUEST"), Natsumi Hioka ("Kuma Miko", "Mitsuboshi Colors"), Minori Chihara ("The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", "Violet Evergarden").
