Anime adaptation of the manga, second season to follow the previous season aired from October to December 2020.
Story is about young Moriarty, the greatest rival of Sherlock Holmes in Conan Doyle's novel.
The orphaned protagonist, who has taken over the Moriarty family through a conspiracy, plays the role of a brigand who brings down the hammer on corrupt British aristocrats who cannot be judged by law.

Sherlock Holmes and John Watson appeared in the middle of the first season, and in this second season, their confrontation will finally intensify.
Also, one of the highlights of the early part of the second season is the appearance of Irene Adler, fan's favorite among the original Sherlockians, who meets a different end than the original.
Then James Bond appears!
Sherlock's lodger, Mrs. Hudson, was even theorized to be the same person because she did not appear in a very same scene in the original manga; however, she is depicted as a complete different person in the anime.
