A new anime starting in October 2024, animated from a manga.
Title refers to the Mibu Rōshi, the predecessors of the Shinsengumi, and it features a fictional young protagonist with blue eyes and white hair, offering a fresh depiction of the Shinsengumi's activities during the late Edo period. While historical characters such as Serizawa Kamo, Kondo Isami, Hijikata Toshizo, and Okita Soji appear as they did in history, there are also many fictional characters including the protagonist. It will be interesting to see how the series portrays historical events going forward.
