Animated from a popular light novel, with the long title abbreviated to "Danmachi".
This is the 5th season following the 1st (Apr-Jun/2015, 13 episodes), 2nd (Jul-Sep/2019, 12 episodes), and 3rd (Oct-Dec/2020, 12 episodes). The 4th season part1(Jul-Oct/2022, 11 episodes) and part2(Jan-Mar/2023, 11 episodes).
The story is about the adventures in dungeons of the many gods in the heavenly realm and their human dependents (called Familiars).
In the previous season, serious battle in deep dungeon was described.
This season, unlike the previous season, starts with the feel of a pure love story. However, at the end of the first episode, there is a somewhat ominous turn. It seems it won't be a simple storyline, making us curious about future developments.
