Set in Japan's Sengoku era, it follows a battle action story where step-siblings fight against yokai(Japandese creatures).
In a world where humans and yokai coexist, the older sister is a yokai fox who likes humans, while the younger brother is a human adept in onmyodo who dislikes humans.
The yokai in this world are called "Katawara" and "Sawari," unique names specific to this work.
A tale of good versus evil, reminiscent of a Japanese traditional drama.
Produced by WHITE FOX("Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World"), directed by Aizawa Kagetsu("Hakyu Hoshin Engi": Director), with composition/screenplay by Hanada Jukki ("Steins;Gate":Director).
Music by Evan Call ("Violet Evergarden": Music), and the ending theme "Yuuyami no Uta" is a collaboration between Kajiura Yuki(lyrics/composition) and KEIKO (vocals, former member of Kalafina).
