The theme revolves around mahjong, as the title suggests.
The story unfolds in a worn-out mahjong parlor in Hiroshima/Onomichi, depicting the leisurely activities of high school girls who begin to enjoy mahjong with friends.
Bird like creature also make an appearance and the rules of mahjong are explained carefully, making it accessible even to those unfamiliar with the mahjong rules.
Whether you're a mahjong enthusiast or not, it's a show that can be enjoyed at a relaxed pace.
The voice cast includes Maeda Kaori ("Love Live!
