It is an original animation without an original story, and is a rare work focusing on F4, an introductory category of formula car racing with F1 at its peak.
The race venue, Fuji Speedway, appears in real name, the car body was supervised by DOME, an actual car body manufacturer, and the engine sounds and sounds generated by each car parts were actually recorded for this work.
The cars are based on 2,000cc 4-cylinder engines, and the contestants and drivers range in age. The story is centered on the friendship between a struggling student driver in a small racign team and a photographer who has lost his shutter release ability due to a traumatic experience.
All 12 episodes have recently been completed.
The powerful depiction of the races and the characters' conflicts are carefully depicted, making the series well worth watching.
The characters are all basically "good guys," which makes for a very refreshing feeling once I finished watching all episodes.
