The story is about a soldier who is dismissed from the Demon King's Army and leads a relaxed second life as a resident of a desolate village.
As the title suggests, the story unfolds in a relaxed manner, with the main character literally using his former work experience to solve the village's problems. The film is beautifully drawn and the talented voice actors make it very enjoyable to watch.
