New anime to start in October 2021.

It is based on a video game and is called "Muv-Luv".which means "true love".
The game itself is based on the adult PC game "Muv-Luv" released in 2003, and the sequel "Muv-Luv Alternative" released in 2006.
The original game was a romantic comedy simulation game, but from the very 1st episode, the anime has the feel of a gritty war story, realistically depicting the fierce battle between the military, humanoid robots, and the extraterrestrial BETA.
This work is known to have been greatly influenced by Isayama Hajime, the author of "Attack on Titan", and the scene in the 1st episode where BETA breaks through the defensive wall and invades makes you wonder if it was indeed the source of the homage to the scene where the Titan is stuck to the wall.
Co-produced by FLAGSHIP LINE, Yumeta Company, and Graphinica, the film is directed by Nishimoto Yukio, composed by Urahata Tatsuhiko, and voiced by Kamiki Koichi, Kusunoki Tomori("Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online":Llenn), Nanami Karin("Kakegurui":Nishinotouin Yuriko), Itou Miku("The Quintessential Quintuplets":Nakano Miku), Tanaka Takako("Hinamatsuri":Hina), Lynn("The Promised Neverland":Gilda) and others.
I don't know what will happen in the future, but I would like to see it as a war story with realistic depiction first.
