A new anime television series premiered in April/2021 adapted from the original video game.
“Blue Reflection”, the original game was developed by KOEI TECMO HOLDINGS in 2017. The original idea of characters is designed by Mel Kishida (“Hanasaku iroha”, “RDG: Red Data Girl”). Scripted by Keiichi Sigsawa (“Kino's Journey”). A story of sensitive high school girls who have inner conflict fight against monsters.
Although the original idea of characters is same as the game, characters has been replaced by new characters, so the voice members have also been renewed. Voiced by Manaka Iwami(“Fruits Basket”, “Wave, Listen to Me!”), Haruka Chisuga (“Shirobako”, “Angels of Death”), Yuka Takakura (“UQ Holder”), Hitomi Ōwada (“Shirobako”, “The Badminton play of Ayano Hanesaki!”), Reina Ueda(“Record of Grancrest War”, “SSSS.Gridman”), Nina Tamaki(“Love Kome: We Love Rice”), Rui Tanabe (“Nanana's Buried Treasure”, “Hinomaru Sumo”), Shiori Izawa (“The Asterisk War”, “Made in Abyss”),
A setting of the magical girls, psychedelic fighting scenes, a depiction of emotions of the ennui characters and also spin-off storyline of new characters remind of ”Puella Magi Madoka Magica”. However, the drawing is not as cute as that, so the characters look very delicate and fragile.
We can get more fun if we watch it in comparison with “Puella Magi Madoka Magica."
