This is the 2nd season of an anime adaptation of a light novel, following the 1st season (Oct-Dec/2020, 12 episodes).
In the 1st season, the boy lived a lone in the forest with some slimes and then came to town to start a business (cleaning cloths utilizing his slimes). The first few episodes of the 2nd season depict the development of the business. The cute artwork and slow tempo story are the same as in the 1st season, but this 2nd season can be viewed as a daily life drama about his business success.
It is produced by MAHO FILM, directed by Yanase Yushi, composed by Fudeyasu Kazuyuki ("That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime":Composition), and voice acted by Tadokoro Azusa("Uma Musume Pretty Derby":Symboli Rudolf), Kuwahara Yuuki("Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid":Tohru), Ono Daisuke("JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE":Kujo Jotaro), Kohno Marika("Uma Musume: Pretty Derby ":Silence Suzuka), Furukawa Makoto("One Punch-Man":Saitama) and others remain unchanged.
