A new anime television series premiered in Apr/2021, adapted from original manga series. The original author is Hiro Mashima of “Fairy Tail”.
Although the story is a classic adventure, it is set in the near future. The central character, a human raised by robots in a world where only robots live, goes on an adventure out of the stars due to the robots' life-span.
Created by J.C.STAFF (“A Certain Magical Index”, “Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma”). Directed by Yushi Suzuki who is the producer of “Fairy Tail” and this “EDENS ZERO” is his directorial debut. Scripted by Mitsutaka Hirota ("Zoids Wild", "Rent-A-Girlfriend"). Voiced by Takuma Terashima ("Kokoro Connect.", "The Irregular at Magic High School"), Mikako Komatsu ("Bodacious Space Pirate", "Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea"), Rie Kugimiya ("Hayate the combat butler", "Toradora!"), Hiromichi Tezuka ("hey-bot", "Val × Love"), Shiori Izawa ("The Asterisk War", "Made in Abyss"), Shiki Aoki ("THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS Theater"), Sayaka Ohara ("Toradora!", "Fate/Zero"), Hochu Otsuka ("Ajin: Demi-Human", "The Saga of Tanya the Evil"), Kikuko Inoue ("Ranma 1/2", "MACROSS Frontier").
This is a precious lineup while the number of classic adventure titles have been decreasing. I am looking forward to watching it every week.
