An anime based on a web manga.
Set on a remote Japanese island, it is a sci-fi suspense in which the characters survive against aliens who can copy humans, and when they meet a bad end, protagonist is sent back in time to the previous point.
Story is quite thrilling from the beginning, as you can't tell whether it is a real human or an alien that has taken over, because they have the same appearance. The beautiful graphics and elaborate direction make the film exciting to watch.
The original manga has already been completed, so I wonder this anime be able to complete it all at once.
The island where the anime takes place is called "Hitogashima," but it is modeled after Tomogashima in Wakayama Prefecture (total area name for Jinojima, Torashima, Kamijima, and Okinoshima), and Wakayama City has appointed Kofune Ushio, the main heroine of this work, as its tourism ambassador.
