It is an animated from famous manga, and is a summation, continuation, and prequel to the TV series that concluded last June.
The story is centered on the continuation of love story of Honda Toru and Soma Kyo, who after many twists and turns, have come together, and the beginning of the relationship between Toru's mother Kyoko, and his father Katsuya, and the performance of Sawashiro Miyuki as Kyoko was wonderful. She expressed her rough time in junior high school, her newly married period, her bereavement from her husband, and her love for her child with great emotion.
