This is an original anime with no original story.
The story revolves around a high school girl who is trying to rebuild an aquarium in Okinawa(Southern island in Japan) that is about to close, and a girl who has given up on becoming an idol and is searching for her life's goal.
Created by P.A.WORKS Co.,Ltd., this is the 4th work in the series that describes working girls following "Hanasaku iroha", "Shirobako", and "SAKURA QUEST".
The story takes place in Nanjo City, Okinawa Prefecture. The "Gamagama Aquarium" that appears in the story doesn't actually exist, but the Uozu Aquarium supervised it, making it very realistic.
Directed by Shinohara Toshiya ("Black Butler": Director/Storyboard), composition by Kakihara Yuko ("Cells at Work! ":Composition). The opening act, ARCANA PROJECT, and the ending act, Mia REGINA, are both singers who have gone through many twists and turns in their careers, and I wonder if their intention is to overlap with the heroine's situation.
