New anime starting in Oct/2018. An anime adaptation of a popular light novel.
The story has a maniacal setting: a man who dies unexpectedly in this world and is reincarnated as a slime with many special abilities in another world. In an alternate world where killing and conquest are the themes, the protagonist's stance of seeking peaceful solutions is unique, as it would be impossible in an actual game.
Directed by Yasuhito Kikuchi ("Comet Lucifer", "Infinite Stratos"). Scripted by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (“Girls' Last Tour”, “Black Clover”) has enough ability. The voice cast includes young Miho Okasaki as the main character Slime, and also talented voice artists such as Megumi Toyoguchi ("Black Lagoon", "Fullmetal Alchemist"), Tomoaki Maeno ("Yowamushi Pedal", "Yona of the Dawn"), Yumiri Hanamori ("Happy Sugar Life", "Laid-Back Camp), and Makoto Furukawa ("Golden Time", "One Punch-Man").
I'm looking forward to the future development of this another world story that doesn't seem to involve fighting and defeating anyone.
