息子を島﨑信長(バキ：範馬刃牙)、少女は若手の結木梢を抜擢。
物語の進行や人間の心理描写が非常に丁寧なのは吉田玲子(ヴァイオレット・エヴァーガーデン：構成)の構成によるものか。監督追崎史敏は制作を行うエンカレッジフィルムズの代表取締役。
他声優陣は、小山力也(名探偵コナン：毛利小五郎)、大原さやか(FAIRY TAIL：エルザ・スカーレット)、鈴木みのり(マクロスΔ：フレイア・ヴィオン)、髙橋ミナミ(食戟のソーマ：田所恵)、早見沙織(魔法科高校の劣等生：司波深雪)、松岡禎丞(ソードアート・オンライン：キリト)ら実力派が名を連ねる。

This is the 4th season of the anime adaptation of the popular manga by Hara Yasuhisa, following the 1st season from Jun/2012 to Feb/2013(38 episodes), the 2nd season from Jun/2013 to Mar/2014(39 episodes), and the 3rd season from Apr/2020 to Oct/2021(26 episodes).
It is an epic story about the activities of Qin Shi Huang(the First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty) and his loyal retainer Li Xin, and the 3rd season depicted the episodes of "the Alliancealliance (of the Six Kingdoms against the Qin dynasty)". In this 4th season, the story begins with the rebellion of Qin Shi Huang's younger brother Chengjiao. The interpretation of the story differs from the historical facts as generally told, and interesting developments unfold from the beginning of the story.

秦の始皇帝嬴政(えいせい)と彼の忠臣李信の活躍を描く大河物語で、第3期では合従連衡のエピソードが描かれた。第4期では嬴政の弟、成蟜(せいきょう)の乱から話がスタートする。一般的に語られていた史実とは異なる解釈になっており、序盤から面白い展開が繰り広げられる。
制作ぴえろ(｢NARUTO｣)他、監督今泉賢一(放課後さいころ倶楽部：監督)、構成高木登(黒子のバスケ：構成)、音楽澤野弘之(進撃の巨人：音楽)･KOHTA YAMAMOTOは3期と変わらず、森田成一(TIGER & BUNNY：バーナビー・ブルックスJr.)、福山潤(コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ：ルルーシュ)、釘宮理恵(とらドラ！：逢坂大河)、日笠陽子(けいおん！：秋山澪)ら声優陣も変更無し。

A new anime starting in Oct/2015.
It is a new Gundam series, but I paid attention to it because the director/composer duo is Nagai Ryusetsu and Okada Mari of "Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day" and "The Anthem of the Heart" fame.
Although the original story is based on Tomino Yoshiyuki's, there is only a bit of "original Gundam" taste. Rather than that, the main characters are front-line disposable troops like in "Mobile Suit Gundam The 08th MS Team", and the protagonist Mikazuki and the semi-protagonist Olga have a image relationship like Simon and Kamina in "Gurren Lagann”.
Having watched the first episode, it is interesting to see whether the fact that they are not Gundam-like.

2015年10月開始の新アニメ。
ガンダムの新シリーズなのだが、監督・構成のコンビが｢あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない｣｢心が叫びたがってるんだ｣の長井龍雪、岡田麿里ということで注目していた。
原作に富野由悠季とあるが、はっきりいってオリジナルガンダムのテイストは、ほぼ無い。主人公たちのおかれた立場はどちらかというと｢ガンダム08小隊｣の様な前線の使い捨て部隊で、主人公ミカヅキと準主人公オルガは、｢天元突破グレンラガン｣のシモンとカミナの様な力関係で、準主人公の方が兄貴分的立ち位置。
